Open Question: Has your computer ever become a "run away" - Where you lose all access to it's a controls and functions...?
. As did mine about 45 minutes ago.. I was left with no choice but to pull the plug, and remove the batteries.. Even the ACPI override didn't work.. How did you regain control of yours.? What's the most likely cause.? At the time, it was running a virus-scan, and I was playing mp3 files via Windows Media Player (version 10) and was online (on a safe and trusted site).. It just became a run away with no means of controlling, or stopping it, other than as I said above.. . Ian 49.... Funny you should mention Dell, because it is.!! And... It does hurt, ye bugger...!
Open Question: Why would you buy a MP3/MP4 player when there're smartphones?
I've been wondering about this for quite some time now. Why would someone want to get say iPod Touch or anything of that sort if he already had an iPhone or pretty much any other smartphone? Smartphones are capable of virtually anything a MP3/MP4 player has to offer + the ability to make phone calls and stuff. Carrying two devices around is impractical to say the least. The best reasoned answer wins. Also, I don't mean "iPod INSTEAD of iPhone", I mean "iPod if you ALREADY HAVE an iPhone".
